hi
I bought a Packard bell easy Note Sj51-b-055 with Vista
unfortunatly all my softwares doesn't work with vista and the laptop is very
slow
then i decide to downgrade to Xp
well
it works really better unfortunatly I'm not able to find the LAN driver and
the AUDIO driver
sombody could help me?

You should have grabbed the drivers before you reformatted with
something like:

Driver Backup (it's free)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/drvback/

Or free today only at:

Driver Magician 3.28
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/driver-magician-3-28/

Btw, some of us call Vista to XP as a upgrade and not a downgrade. :D

Your best bet is to go to the PB site and find the driver information,
that will tell you what the Audio and LAN chips are. Then go to the
manufacturers sites to get XP drivers for them.

I did it.. but they don't work with XP
unfortunatly..
i used Driver Magician

i did it..
but i didnt' find any driver from the matufacters web for these divices..
it's because it's new.. but i read in internet that sombody dolved the
problem.. but he didn't leave any useful information unfortunatly

I went to

and no, you've got no XP drivers for that model (which came out aug-08)
They either have no intention of writing drivers for your machine, or, it
takes it's time.

You could try something like Aida32 (discontinued since it went commercial),
SiSoft Sandra or some such to identify all parts in your machine, then
check their manufacturers homepages for drivers. That won't work for the
motheroard though, so to get chipset/mb drivers might be a PITA....

i did it.. i used Sandra and a lotof other software..
but nothing..
i read in some place that is possibile to change some string insideof the
driver script of Vista to useit for XP .. but i don't know how to do.. and
nobody left any information about it..
it's a pity.. because i can use my laptop with any audio file or i
can'tconnect it via LAN
i need to use my laptop to work with photofraphy. then.. it's not a so
tragic problem.. but if i want to so something other.. i can't..
and i have to say.. that.. the work speed with XP is more then 200% fast
then with Vista .. i made the same work with both systems.. taking the
time.. it's unbelievable..
