Coffee Accident

Spilled coffee on the dell inspiron e1505 labtop this monring.
everything is working fine, but the touchpad and volume buttons. Any
idea what happen and how to fix it?

strip down and some cleaning are required.

What happened? Just a guess, but I'd say you spilled coffee in it. With
any luck, it was black. More probably it had cream and sugar in it so major
cleaning is called for. Good luck

Turn it off and take out the battery until you get it cleaned out.
The longer it takes you to get around to it, the worse the damage.
Voltage ACCELERATES the damage a LOT!!!
Did I mention, take out the battery?
