A55 getting into the cmos?

got a satelite a55 s1065 and I need to change
the boot order so I can use the restote cd. the
cmos has a passwof which I know, but as soon
as I type it in, it starts booting to the internal hd.
I have tried f1 f2 del and other combinations but
I still haven't been able to get into the cmos.
any ideas?

thanks,
charles

Re: A55 getting into the cmos?

Hold down the Escape key starting before you even turn the power on, and
continue holding it until you get an error message OR password request
on the screen.
