I think I have may burned something out. It will not start. But where it tells you how full the battery is that blinks when u press the power button. Any suggestions on how to get this to power up again?

How can i tell if that is true? My Acer Will not start when I hit the power button. And when it will start up it says DISK ERROR How can i fix this?

You have multiple posts and so two have been merged. Is this a notebook? What is the model?

This is a notebook. Not sure about the model but on the front it says
Aspire 3003WLCi Its been givin problems for ever.

I'm going through your other messages and you posted about a disk error and another about power. Please take time to describe the problem (in detail with error messages) and everything that you have tried to repair the problem.

Well Yesterday I was playin on it. the whole system has been running slow. from when it starts to load till it shuts down. Files been currupting everywhere. The sound card currupted then this file FAT82 or something currupted like 10 times. I been useing the Recovery CD's that came with the Notebook almost every month because nothing can keep this Acer together. Now It is in some sort of lock down. it will not power up. And when it finnaly starts up it says Disk error. Then it willl stay up for a while then shut down.

Also i forgot to add this. I got on to the notebook to boot the system recovery CD that worked it started to recover but then it just shut down again. It cant stay on for likr more then 5 minutes
