Hi,

I'm the technology coordinator at my school, and we have started the first year of a faculty tablet program by issuing 50 Toshiba Tablet PC's.

The early results of the program indicates a great deal of enthusiasm and creative use by the faculty group. I'm looking for some models of assessment by which we can try to measure the educational value of the tool in the classroom. I'd like to start collecting data for that purpose that is a bit "harder" than anecdotal info submitted by faculty.

Can you steer me to any studies in this realm?

This is exactly what I've been wanting to get started at my high school. I'm *not* the technology coordinator but have been trying to get teachers and administrators interested by having different Tablet PCs "circulate" around the school.

How did you manage to get 50 into your school?

Update: In all my enthusiasm I forgot to answer your question. When Lora comes along she can steer you to some studies. Is your school an elementary, high school or college?
