| I have not upgraded all of them. I upgraded the Motion with too much trouble. I have been using the motion the most of all the tablets. I have loan out the other Tablets to staff members so that we can get a better gauge of how useful they are. We bought these tablets to see if we could improve our survey data collection activities but unfortnately the software (Blaise) that our agency uses to develop questionnaires does not take advantage of the Tablet features. Hopefully that will change this fall and we can resume testing. |

| Wow. You have quite a selection of Tablet PCs!!! Yes, though they are all similar, each have subtle differences that may make one model better for some users over another. If you're after long battery life, without hot swapping batteries, check out the Tatung / Electrovaya Scribblers. They get 6 - 7 hours, depending on what applications you're using, settings, etc. Though they don't have an outdoor viewable screen, you can read them outside better than most traditional displays. Layne has a picture in his article about using it in the classroom where you can see the display outside. It might be too much of a compromise for you, but worth checking out. |
