Hi. I am considering purchasing an Acer TravelMate C303XMi. Anybody have any comments on this choice? Or what might be a better choice?

I have owned and used three different Tablet PCs: two slates and one convertible. I'm much more productive on my Acer convertible. It is heavier but worth the weight of the keyboard so that I can quickly type a note. It also gives me the opportunity to keep it in slate mode during a meeting - it is much less intrusive than having the screen between you and the speaker.

Other choices would be the Averatec (different digitizer) and Toshiba (no internal DVD).

Thanks for this info! Now I have read about the Fujitsu Stylistic ST4121/ST5011 outdoor/indoor screen, which would be useful for me. I haven't seen any others with this option except the Motion 1300, but I read a review that stated it's indoor screen is not that great. Any others out there?

There is a special version of the M1400 from Motion Computing that also has an indoor outdoor screen.

Thank you so much for alerting me to the Motion M1400. After your reply, I researched this tablet for several weeks, and concluded it was the one for me!

I just purchased it from InfoCater, with indoor/outdoor screen, 60MB, 512 RAM, etc. I am very excited!
