Hi,

I purchased an Acer C104Ti from CompUSA in July of 2003 for school and studies. I am a Seminary student and felt the Tablet PC would be quite useful in the classroon and teaching. It has been very helpful in both applications, if I could only get the handwriting down better.

However, I have been dissatisfied by the lack of support and details from Acer regarding use and maintenance. Plus the fact that when I purchased the unit it was incomplete, wrong hard-drive, memory, and missing cables, after three weeks of hassle with both Acer and CompUSA was it finally resolved.

Now I just downloaded Service Pack 2 and what a disaster! It would not load properly and when rebooted, corrupted many dll's and other files. Acer Recovery CD restores back to orginal status from purchase and all data, as well as, other programs, will be lost.

HELP!!!!

Thank you for registering and sorry that the Service Pack 2 upgrade didn't go well for your machine.

Now, how did you do the upgrade? Did you go through the automatic updates or download a file?

I have an Acer C10x and was able to use the version for updating multiple machines across a network.
