Hello ; I have a M 1400 tablet from motion computing. Recently iam having a problem with the writing pad on the input pannel. Whenever i write something it does not send anything to the desired location, howevet when i use the input pannel keyboard it works. I could see the ink to text conversion in the preveiw pannel but i just does not send to the desired location. I have windows xp tablet pc 2002 with service pack 1. PLEASE HELP!

First, you'll want to update the operating system to service pack 2. The Tablet PC Input Panel is greatly improved. Security is also a second reason to upgrade.

Note: If I remember correctly, Lora stated she had to remove the service pack and then reinstall in order for the text conversion to show properly on the TIP.

Second, there are options for the panel which may be changed for delays or whether you need to click (double click) on the send. Look for the Tablet and Pen Settings icon in the system tray.
