| Help. Bad cord on laptop power supply I am using a Compaq Presario R3000 laptop, and after 2 years the cord going into the laptop from the power supply got frayed and started shorting at the plug end. I repaired it as well as I can, but I'd like to replace this part of the cord with a new one. Unfortunately, the DC output wire is hard-wired to the DC converter. Can I buy just this cord? Where? (I tried a replacement plug from Radio Shack, but it wasn't sturdy enough.) Thanks for your help. |
