Gateway Solo LCD Removal Documentation

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction, or give me
instructions on how to remove the entire LCD Screen from a Gateway
solo 2150. I have don this on Dell notebooks, but for some reason
have run into a snag on this Gateway. Had no trouble removing the
keyboard, have removed all the screws, except those holding on the
bezel, but still no luck.

Re: Gateway Solo LCD Removal Documentation

Are you trying to open the lid to {for example} change the LCD panel, or
are you trying to remove the entire lid, semi-permanently (e.g. to use
the laptop base only with some other external display)?

See if you make progress by popping the hinge covers off. Most Solos had
pop-off hinge covers that revealed the hinge assembly.
