| Sony Vaio AR21M notebook Hi Buying a Sony Vaio AR21M notebook and was wondering how upgradeable they are if at all? Also can anyone recommend a good 5.1 speaker system (no more than £75) and will the sound card with the Vaio be able to process 5.1? Thanks |

Think about it for example;their hard drive speed is only maxed to 5400rpm, their RAM capacity is maximized to 2Gig, I have not heard yet of their model that is 64 bit ready or I am not just aware of it. Please correct me if I am wrong. the only saving grace for having a Sony is its sleek classy appearance;. If you want a beauty for your workhorse computers desktop replacement system then Sony notebook is a class of its own. That is why if you want to buy Sony notebooks, buy the latest model with the powefulr features for your need so that it will be quite a time before you will buy a another one. But if upgradability is your main concern, better stick with a desktop than a laptop (even the so called desktop replacement systems.) IMO Buying a laptop is different from procuring a desktop.. |

Check with Sony for the complete specifications, perhaps here: http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select...6,66,9,70,5,72 Q |
