| Sony Vaio PCGFRV27 keyboard problem It is a Sony Vaio PCGFRV27. I can't get the keyboard off. I took all the obvious screws out, but the base won't separate. The older models had a screw or two on the left side that when removed allowed you to slide the plastic piece closest to the screen off to the right. But I can't find any way of getting this keyboard off or getting to the cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

On my GRV670 the screw is under the left edge, at the front left corner of the plastic strip. That strip slides *left* about 1/4 inch, then can be lifed up and out. That needs to come out to access the keyboard retaining screw. Q |
