Sony Vaio PCGFRV27 keyboard problem

It is a Sony Vaio PCGFRV27. I can't get the keyboard off.
I took all the obvious screws out, but the base won't separate.
The older models had a screw or two on the left side that when
removed allowed you to slide the plastic piece closest to the
screen off to the right. But I can't find any way of getting this
keyboard off or getting to the cable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the retaining screw for the power strip is not hidden
inside a flap covering a USB port, a removeable plug, etc, on the left
side? On my GRV670 the screw is under the left edge, at the front left
corner of the plastic strip. That strip slides *left* about 1/4 inch,
then can be lifed up and out. That needs to come out to access the
keyboard retaining screw.
