Removing keyboard from laptop (Asus)

Hello,

Can somebody tell me how you can remove the keyboard from an Asus
laptop without damaging the laptop?

I want to check if the CMOS battery is located under the keyboard.

Most likely the battery ($1,00 item) needs to be replaced in a couple
of years. If i can not do this myself because i do not know where it
is, i need to sent the laptop (with all private data on it, to Asus
and pay maybe $100,-

Yes i checked all panes (opening up and removing parts like the HDD).
..

I checked online (google and Asus site) with no results.

Thanks.
But the information given about the location of the battery is for a
Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1630. On the same site i found a review of the
Asus laptop but there was no reference to the location of the CMOS
battery.
BTW. I looked before under the wifi module (as identified in the
Fujitsu) but here is no battery in the Asus laptop.

So any more suggestions?

?

The link DID change (its an interactive webpage and I didn;t notice that
yesterday - so that ID now points to diff page ). I JUST cleaned up all
my temp files so when I tried HISTORY to load yesterday's page from
cache , it's empty - no history - sorry. I did read it word for word.
BTW the battery is NOT under the kb - it said under panel on bottom of
pc. . It's out there at that site - I did find a a6000 review today
http://www.laptopshowcase.co.uk/reviews.php?id=124
but only one comment now . ( maybe they flush after x days ? )
Also I could not find that by using their review list - only by
searching. Then I tried to search for more spefici info - site told me "
too soon to search again" - maybe it's a subscription service ??

Bobb,

Thanks for all the work.
I was able to remove the keyboard. It took two scerws at the bottom
(labeled "K") and prying carefully the keyboard on the top (near the
screen) to get it snatched away under three 'retainers'. And indeed
under the keyboard there is no CMOS battery.
So the only possibilities are that it is under the DRAM memory (bottom
of the laptop) or maybe there is no battery to replace at all (using a
capacitor or flashmemory???).
Bu
