If you have a Toshiba Satellite notebook with Core Solo or Duo processor,
could you please tell me what is your chipset? You can check it by running
the shareware SiSoft Sandra diagnostic software.

Most of the Toshiba models will have a 945 chipset (newer ones) or a 915
chipset (slightly older). The big difference is that the chipset video
in the 945 (GMA 950) will run Vista's Aero_Glass interface, while the
chipset video in the 915 (GMA 900) currently will not.
