Hi,Just bought a laptop 2nd hand.

Seems pretty good, but the windows xp screen is about 3 inches square.
The actual physical screen is about 12 inces wide.
I've been playing around in settings for about 2 hours trying to change
the appearance but no joy.

The model is a Sony vaio vgn-tx1xp. I guess it's something to do with
the screen driver, but in control pannel it just says default screen??

If you can help I'd really appreciate it.

GO to the sony web site and enter the model # and look for it.
