| Placing battery during lapton on A/C power Hello, I am using my laptop most of the time on A/C power and have therefor the battery removed. Can i place (or remove) the battery when the laptop is turned on on A/C power or do i realy need to power down? Note I found some articles on the internet about the pro's and con's of a battery but did not find any thoughts about (re)placing the battry when the laptop is on. Hope somebody can give me an answer. Bu |

And yes, you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever removing the battery while the laptop is powered on. They are made to do this. As how can you swap batteries if it couldn't? -- Bill |

| Re: Placing battery during lapton on A/C power I've never seen a laptop on which you could not remove or install a battery while the laptop was running and connected to it's AC adapter/charger.
