| Getting more disk space on my Dell XPS? My Dell XPS M1710 is only providing about 86 GB for my 100GB drive. Is there any way to get more drive space. The pagefile.sys is 2 GB and hibernation has been disabled. By comparison, my Sony VAIO shows about 94 GB for total capacity on its 100 GB drive. |

| Re: Getting more disk space on my Dell XPS? There is probably a partition on the drive that you can theoretically delete (although there may be some functionality associated with it .... things like the ability to restore Windows, and the ability to play CDs and DVDs without booting Windows. The former is important, the latter is perhaps not). You need to look at the partition layout of the drive. But, really, if 86GB isn't enough, then even 100GB probably would not be for long. You need to look at getting a 120GB or 160GB drive. Nomad wrote: > My Dell XPS M1710 is only providing about 86 GB for my 100GB drive. Is > there any way to get more drive space.
