| Laptop won't reboot. I have a Compaq R4000 Laptop. lately i have been getting a problem. I can work on the laptop for hours with no problems. But if I reboot my screen stays blank, from the bios and won't boot. I also try pressing the power button until it shuts down and reboot but still won't boot. The only way I can get it going is by shutting it down for approx 10 minutes then it will reboot. What could be the problem? If it would need time to cool off wouldn't it overheat just by using it? It was working great until this week, Warranty is about 2 months expired,,,figures... What can it be? Tia      |

| Re: Laptop won't reboot. I will check, but if I boot from power off and don't even see the boot process before getting into windows, will active x affect anything. Wouldn't they only give me problems when windows try loading not from boot?
