I want to be able to record TV shows to my IPOD. I really only need
sound because I want to listen to the shows on the drive to and from
work. I am trying to determine the correct equipment to buy. I do not
want to have my TV on all the time, so I figure I will need an external
USB TV Tuner to connect to my LAPTOP. Recommendations appreciated. I
am thinking I will also need some program to automatically change to
the channel to be recorded (Hopefully this comes with the Tuner). And
finally I need some program to convert the recorded show to the IPOD
format.

Maybe there is an easier way. Any suggestions appreciated.
