Noisy fan-bit stops when tilted

x-no-archive:
Well I have a noisy fan now (I have a Presario R3360US). Driving me
crazy so I tried opening it up to clean It out and even added a little
oil. It's worse.
The funny thing is, if I tip my laptop to approx 40 degrees, the noise
stops (but I can still hear the fan working).
Suggestions?

I'm not nuts about spending over $100 for a new fan.

Bad bearings; get a used replacement fan on E-Bay.

Thanks.
You mean like this one?

How hard is it to "install" such a thing (as you can see it's much more
than just a fan)?
