| Alienware notebook video card Other than Alienware... I am looking to change the video card from ATI 7800 to 7900. All that I am finding is laptops or nothing. Does anyone out there knows a third party source that I can use to order this special card. Please send me email where to go. I don't want my email filled with stupid vender crap. Serious replies only!!! timthetec@netscape.net |

Notebook video is usually soldered on the mainboard and is not only not upgradeable, but not replaceable. There is no secondary market for notebook video as a consequence and that is why you are finding only complete notebooks for the card you want. If Alienware has the card, that is very likely your only source. Q |

| Re: Alienware notebook video card By the way, the 7800 & 7900 series video cards use Nvidia gpus. Ati produces gpus for the x1900 series card.
