Alienware notebook video card

Other than Alienware... I am looking to change the video card from ATI
7800 to 7900. All that I am finding is laptops or nothing. Does
anyone out there knows a third party source that I can use to order
this special card.

Please send me email where to go.

I don't want my email filled with stupid vender crap. Serious replies
only!!!

I assume you have an Alenware notebook? Alienware is the only vendor I
am aware of that has an upgradeable video card on selected models only.
Notebook video is usually soldered on the mainboard and is not only not
upgradeable, but not replaceable. There is no secondary market for
notebook video as a consequence and that is why you are finding only
complete notebooks for the card you want. If Alienware has the card,
that is very likely your only source.

Re: Alienware notebook video card

By the way, the 7800 & 7900 series video cards use Nvidia gpus. Ati produces
gpus for the x1900 series card.
