| Compaq Presario V3015 Firewire??? Has anyone successfully gotten the 4 pin firewire port to work under Win XP on the above referenced machine? I've tried several times and it appears to be non-functional. Anyone??? Thank you.      |

This port is unpowered, whereas standard 6-pin ports are powered. This might be the problem when trying to connect to a Firewire device that is itself not powered. Q |
