| Compaq EVO n1000v n1020v Hey all, I have a Compaq Evo n1000v and an n1020v which are both doing the same thing:I plug in the unit and notice that the GREEN LED that indicates that the AC Adapter is plugged in is ON. If i place a batter in the unit the ORANGE LED in the front lights up indicating that the battery is charging.. NOW ..the problem is that when I press the power button the machine acts as if the board is shorted out. The LEDs go away..and will not come back on for about 30-60 minutes later. Can somone help me diagnose the issue. The system is not even starting up, no POST, no FAN no nothing. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance always Alex |
