I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I want one that is fairly light

want? 14" 15.4"? How long of a battery life?

I'll be using it on the road, possibly on airplanes. This is why I'd
like one that's lightweight. I don't need a big screen but a long
battery life would be good.

Glad to see you're going with an LCD monitor... Laptops with CRTs
are a *bitch* to get into most carrying cases! <g>

I have a samsung q-35, 12" screen, really nice keyboard, built-in dvd, great
battery life.
