| Re: thinkpad x30 unintentionally powers up yes, I disabled all wake on ... stuff. I also did a firmware update. Of course the battery-out-method works, but I hoped on more elegant solutions pierre Dodgy schrieb: > On Wed, 15 Nov 2006 11:25:50 +0100, "asdasd" <email@address.com> > waffled on about something: > > > > >"Pierre Kerchner" <pkerchner******.com> wrote in message > >news:1163520965.359372.269440@k70g2000cwa.googleg roups.com... > >>I got a disturbing problem with a x30 > >> > >> It just powers up - almost randomly > >> > >> with closed lid, in the bag , also with open lid > >> > >> I turned off almost any bios option dealing with automatic power-up > >> > >> what else can I do? > >> > >> best > >> > >> pierre > >> > > > >Perhaps disabling 'wake on lan' and 'wake on anything' would also help. > > Does the BIOS have the wake at specific time function?
