| Dead Dell ! Hi all, I have a Dell Latitude Cpx - about 5 or 6 years old and it has suddenly died on me. There are no lights lit on the laptop when I plug in the charger and the battery is flat and won't charge, The charger is working ok. I am thinking that the motherboard is kaput and will need changing but I could well be wrong - does anyone have any idea what else could be wrong with it ? Many thanks for any input, Franko. |

How do you know the charger is working if there are no lights? 2. From a financial standpoint, you might want to think twice before sinking any money into a close-to-worthless laptop. Notan |

And just get a new notebook. |
