Does this product exist? Mini-PCI networking card...

I want to retrofit an IBM A20m with an internal WLAN card. Currently
I have a 10/100 LAN/56K mini-PCI card. I hate to lose my modem, so
I'd like to find a tri-purpose card. Does one exist?

If not, could someone recommend a solid 10/100-WLAN mini-PCI card for
me to use? I'd have to go PC Card modem, but if I have to...

I had the same dilemma with my IBM Transnote. I wanted internal
wifi, but didn't want to give up both dial-up and 10/100 ethernet. I
went with one IBM's early wifi cards, which offers a 56k modem and
wireless. Search for "Actiontec" to find one. I've never seen a combo
card that offered all three - if you find one, please post.

This is a bad idea, unless the A20m is already internally wired for a
WiFi antenna.

Re: Does this product exist? Mini-PCI networking card...

There were no internal antennas, so I purchased a set and have
installed them. I just need the card now...

Re: Does this product exist? Mini-PCI networking card...

I currently use a PC Card WLAN adapter. I wanted to eliminate the
chunky piece that sticks out the side of the machine. It's just
begging to be accidentally snapped off at some point...and the
internal version with hidden antennas is just cleaner, at least to me.
