mx6421 gateway driver confusion , please help

i am working on a Gateway mx6421. when i got it, it wouldnt fully
start up ..... contiunous errors. person im doing job for wanted the
machine totally erased and windows reloaded..... he had the windows
but not the drivers...
that was fine ive downloaded drivers...

everything went fine ...one thing i guess... there was a recovery
partition i erased all made one and installed windows on it
...beautiful.....

go to device manager and start download and loading drivers... things
went ok , until i hit the sound card , and the "network
controller". everything else loaded fine... welll i went on
the internet and found a work around for the sound card(it seems
this is an persistant issue)

well no matter what ido i cant load the "network controller"
under the specs for this machine it really doesnt give a good
description of the driver or the hardware.... ive tried over and
over to get this driver loaded, to no avail..

i then downloaded the gw recovery program ... it also found that this
wasnt loaded ..... said it was a broadcom driver..... dowloaded from
them and had it auto install which it didnt... tried implementing as
described with the cmd .... said it loaded but it didnt..... rebooted
and tried afew more times
still when i have the GW recovery program search and update still no
driver.(or in device manager)..... kind of at a dead end .... not
totally but pretty burnt up....

any help would be appreciated
thanks
mike :crybaby:

Google the following:

Broadcom 802.11b Network Driver 02/18/2005, 3.100.64.1

MarvellNT.5.1 - SysKonnect SK-9821 Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter
version 06/06/2005

I don't know if they work for that model, but it does for a MX6124.
