HP DV1000 quickplay/media control buttons

I have a HP dv1000 laptop that has the media quickplay buttons. How do
I change which program they open? When I click the music one it use to
bring up itunes, now it brings up windows media player.

I've tried to go through everything, HP support, the keyboard setup,
etc--but nothing. Any help would be great.

Re: HP DV1000 quickplay/media control buttons

From: hp's website (they have all the manuals
online)http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00569409.pdf

To program a Quick Launch button:

1. Select Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other

Hardware > Quick Launch Buttons.

2. On the Media tab, select an application, document, folder, or

Web site for the button you want to reprogram.

There is a freeware utility that will change the keys under Windows 2000
and Windows XP too. But I tried it and it changes my regular keys around
too at the same time. So you might not like it. I'll find it if you are
interested.
