I have got Compaq nx5000 laptop with inbuilt IrDA.
I am unable to connect my Nokia 6220 mobile phone with the laptop
through IR.
I have enabled IR ( I see blue LED light up when its enabled)
One thing that I noticed is that I cannot open the Wireless Link icon
in control panel. When I try to double or right click nothing
happens.(WinXP SP2)

Can anybody help me in this regard?

Can you see the Infrared Port Under Infrared Devices in

Desktop -> My Computer ->(Right click) Properties -> Hardware Tab ->
Device Manager

Hi DDE,
Yes I could see an entry for Infrared devices. Under it there is "SMC
IrCC - Fast Infrared Port" listed.

Any clues why I cannot open "wireless link" properties in Control
Panel?
