| ATI Mobility Raden X700 vs ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Hi everyone! Does someone know how the integrated graphics of Xpress 1100 would fare against the dedicated (but much older) graphics of X700 (if u can provide a link to a comparative article would be great). I have a laptop with the X700 128Mb dedicated graphics card and i am considering buying a new one that comes with the Xpress 1100 (up to 256Mb shared) so i would like to know what to expect compared to my current graphics capabilities. Cheers! |

| Re: ATI Mobility Raden X700 vs ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Thanks a lot for the above link, Even though the main site is in german, selected articles are also available in english and i found one that answered my questions. Actually X700 is much much better than Xpress 1100 and even better than the much later released X1300 (with dedicated graphics). |

Anyway, I'm not in games enough to really care about. Just make sure, your next laptop will support AeroGlass for the case you might want to switch to Vista. I think the keyword to look for is "Vista Preium Ready". regards, Kai-Uwe |
