Dell has dropped the PC Card slot on some models, but those are easily
avoided. NEVER buy a notebook without a PC Card slot. There are simply
too many devices that are only available in the PC Card format.

The Dell Latitude 620 is actually one of only a few current models from
any manufacturer that still has a serial port. I needed a serial
port/parallel port notebook, and bought a Dell D610, now discontinued.
