Blogs usually end up being substantially long. What happens, however, when you don't have a lot to say, but just want to jot down a quick blurb? Well, that's what Odeo thought about when then they decided to create Twitter.
Twitter is a messaging/blogging service which allows people to blog at any moment of the day. Instead of having to write a long and complicated blog, you can now just jot down a few words to let everyone know what you're doing.
Is this what future blogging will look like? Some people, like Pete Cashmore are saying it is. What do you think?
