I was listening to someone speak the other day, and he said "You know you're a loser if you wrap your phone in plastic wrap so you can instant message in the shower"
Hmm. That is not a bad idea. Maybe not the instant messaging in the shower, but wrapping a cell phone in plastic wrap. Especially because Elizabeth and I have both
washed our phones because they were left in the pockets of our jeans. We both have had friends that have dropped their phones in the sink, the shower, the toilet, the pool ..
After doing this, I searched for waterproof cell phones. I found many
house phones that were able to go in water, but there were only cases for cell phones -- and they were too expensive for teens to buy. Luckily, AQUAPAC was at least coming out with something.
Along with the idea of waterproof electronics, I found a Dolphin MP3 player. It has 1MG, and has a battery life of up to eight hours. According to
Wired, it is designed for "accidental immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes". Nonetheless, it is a safer way to listen to music while in the pool this summer. To go along with the waterproof MP3 player, H20 Audio has a set of waterproof headphones.
I think someone's getting ready for summer. :)
