group things together...

How can I group text blocks, drawings, whatever together so that when one of
them gets scrolled everything gets scrolled, or when I move one item, the
rest of them move...

Thank you,
Rudy

Select all the items. Copy them. Open PPT (or Paint, or any other thing that
will let you do a paste special). Paste Special as picture. Copy again. Go
back to OneNote. Paste.

Tedious, but it works :)

Re: group things together...

You could also try SHIFT+dragging the outlines together - when you drop on
the new outline, they shoud combine.

Hope this is what you are looking for,
John

The problem with this is that you then have to reposition all of those
different lines. If your drawing or markup had lots of lines in it this
would be far too tedious for normal use. It would be as if every time you
drew a picture, someone snatched it out of your hands, tore it into tiny
pieces and threw it on the floor. If you wanted to display your picture
on the refrigerator you would then have to tape each piece to the door
individually. I don't think you would hang very many pictures on the
fridge, would you.

Kathy's method was good. Note to Microsoft: It makes no sense to have a product that has no obvious way of grouping objects such as the Note containers in OneNote.
