2007, the Ink is converted into typed text. Did I change something in
the feature set?

I have made several attempts at doing this. I even had a page with
three lines of handwritten text, where two lines came through as ink
and the last line, converted?

I am really confused, if somebody can help me out, I would appreciate
it!

Just to update, since I haven't received much feedback.

I have found that if I set the Pen to write as "DRAWING" it will work
as an "inkBlog". It is when I have it set to "handwriting" or switch
between the two that I was having issues.

The only drawback, from what I have found, is that you can't convert
the writing to text when using the "DRAWING" Setting.

I am LOVING the program!

I am using it to grade papers in my classes. I am using it to post
possible houses on to my family's blog, pulling some Aerial Photos, it
has been wonderful to work with!

Drawings are semantically different from handwriting. They are treated as
shapes. By telling the program that you're creating drawings instead of
handwriting, you're basically saying not to try to recognize the ink. If you
set it to "both" then the analyzer can infer from your writing fairly
accurately what strokes are drawings and which are handwriting (which can be
recognized and converted to text.)
