| No Send to Onenote command in word 2007 The Help menus for Onenote say: · Use the Send to Microsoft OneNote 2007 feature to print from any Microsoft Office program directly into OneNote 2007. There is no such option in my Word 2007! (at least not in the SEND command in the top-right Office-circly-thing menu). All I have is send to fax and email. |

| Re: No Send to Onenote command in word 2007 Thanks Kathy Yes - if I go to print and then choose th "printer name" of Send to Onenote it works. What an unnecesarily fiddly solution! | Re: No Send to Onenote command in word 2007 Jim -- Why is that "unnecessarily fiddly"? Seems to me it's the only reasonable solution to the problem of giving every application on your system -- not just Office apps -- the ability to send their data to OneNote. In my case, it neatly solves an issue I'd been wrestling with for some time. I like to keep records of my IM discussions, but the app we use at work (SameTime, sad to say) doesn't maintain archives of its discussions. The only option is to save the discussion to a text file, then get that into the clipboard and paste it into a OneNote page. THAT qualifies as "unnecessarily fiddly" to me. Now, I just print the discussion to the "Send to OneNote" pseudo-printer, and it's right there for all posterity. -- //Steve// * Steve Silverwood, KB6OJS Wildomar, CA Email: kb6ojs@arrl.net Web: http://www.silverwood.us On Sun, 4 Mar 2007 11:22:07 -0800, jim <jim@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Thanks Kathy > >Yes - if I go to print and then choose th "printer name" of Send to Onenote >it works. | Re: No Send to Onenote command in word 2007 Has anyone found a way to create a toolbar button to do call the same feature? navigating through the print dialouge box isn't the most time efficient. I'd like to see something similar to the send to onenote tool bar button that Outlook provides |
