| PDF Insertion Turned Sideways Using Windows XP Using OneNote 2007 Retail When I drag a PDF file from the desktop to a page in ON (ON reduced to windowed size to view both ON and PDF file on desktop at same time) it presents me with 3 options: Insert link, Insert copy of file, Insert file as printout to write on it. I pick "insert file as printout to write on it" and it appears on the page turned 90 degrees counterclockwise so one would have to read it turning one's head to the left. Why is this not coming into ON in standard portrait straight up and down readable view???? SIDENOTE: If I take the same PDF and open it and just "print it to ON" it comes in normal in portrait mode just like the original straight up and down and normal readable. |

| RE: PDF Insertion Turned Sideways I had the exact same problem. I noticed the "printer" ON uses lets you toggle to Landscape mode. I tried that and my problem went away - the document appeared right side up in OneNote. | Re: PDF Insertion Turned Sideways John, I'm confused.... You mention the printer that ON uses? Where do I find this setting to change from landscape to portrait when dragging a PDF file to a ON page. I wonder if you are referring to "print to OneNote" vs "drag to OneNote". |

| Re: PDF Insertion Turned Sideways Sorry for the confusion. You are right, I meant the "Sendto OneNote 2007" functionality, accessible through the File | Print command in Adobe (or any other app with print support).
