| Find not finding all instances of a string I have two problems. Machine 1 - XPPro, fully patched but NO desktop search. Find fails to find anything unless it is on the current page regardless of the scope setting. It only finds matching strings on the current page. Machine 2 - Win7 Pro I have a string I copied/pasted from a web page that has a licence key (a onenote key as it hapens). It appears three times on the one page. Two times pasted one time typed in by hand. Searching (find) for the last group of digits in the key only locates the hand typed string. Searching for groups other than the last group works, it finds all instances of the group. Both systems running the same version (2007, 12.0.6415.1000)SP2 MSO (12.0.6245.1000) Both installations shareing the same notebook files on a shared drive (thecus). A third setup (same version, same files) on a laptop finds everything (part of office student) Anyone have a clue what's happening or how to investigate / fix it ? |

| Re: Find not finding all instances of a string First thing I'd probably do is have WDS rebuild the index. Easy to try and might resolve it. -- -Ben- Ben M.
