To make use of OneNote's fantastic feature of synching the notebooks
used on more than one computer:
Do *NOT* store the notebook file in the laptop.
Just connect the two computers (via cable or WLAN) and then on the
laptop open the notebook from the desktop computer.
If you have no way to connect the two devices you might use an USB-stick
and store the notebook files there and open them from there on both
computers.
