| How to set page width but keep length on auto I have a tablet pc and use the ink function for taking notes in class (works great). I have the page size set as auto. when i go to print (scale set as fit content to width), my notes are tiny and have a big space on the right hand side of the page. I have margins set at one inch. My tablet allows me to write in either a landscape or portrait position, I prefer the landscape position, but have to use the portrait because the screen width (in this position) is close to the width of standard paper, thus when I print, notes come out correctly. The only work around that I can find so that I can work in landscape mode is to select page size as letter. When I do this, I now have a set writing area that will make sure that when printing, the size of my notes are correct. My main problem (after a really long intro...) is that when using a set page size, the ability to add extra space at the end of a page is lost. Therefore, I have to add a new page/subpage. This quickly clutters up my pages tab, breaks up the continuity in my notes, and takes more time than just hitting the add space button when I need it. Is there a way to set the page width as 8.5" so I can keep my handwriting proportional while having the flexibility of the "auto" function to have an infinite length? Thanks for your help. Sorry for the long explanation of my problem. |

| Re: How to set page width but keep length on auto Sorry to say this :-( :-( In ON there is absolutely *NO* way to combine the two ways of page layout. Although it has often been asked for to implement a combination of "fixed" size format and the "automatic" page size, even in ON2010 the situation is just the same. We have to live with it.
