Pasting Text from Office 2007

In MS Word 2007 or Outlook 2007, when I type a ==> or -->, these charcters
are replaced with a graphical right arrow, that looks great. When I copy
text with this symbol into OneNote, the graphic right arrow is replaced with
a carriage return + bullet point or square box. Shouldn't OneOne support
native text from Office 2007?

Hmmm...it works fine for me. Can you be more specific about the exact steps
you're taking?

Also, do you have the latest service packs installed for Word and OneNote?

I too can reproduce it:

I type ==> in Word, it is immediately converted into an arrow.
Then select it with my pen (on Tablet PC). CTRL+C.
Going to Onenote. CTRL+V.

Result: one black bullet point, followed by a CR, followed by a second
but gray bullet in the next line, followed by the cursor.

XP SP 3 (German) + Office 2007 definitely up to date.

Re: Pasting Text from Office 2007

Try turning on formatting marks in Word and then see if you can select the
text WITHOUT getting the associated paragraph mark. Copy/paste that. See
if that helps.

I tried it (carefully, I swear ;-) ): doesn't work, same wrong result.
