MUST include basic Word features like Format Painter

Why is there no:
- format painter?
- hidden text?
- borders?
- and other basic MS word tools?

Also, make it easier for people to:
- Mindmap
- Create org charts.

PS...I just found out about MS OneNote and LOVE IT! So...thanks!

Re: MUST include basic Word features like Format Painter

Primarily because OneNote is not a word processor. Having said that, keep
an eye on some of the information published about expected features in
OneNote 2010. Some editing tools are improved, but ON is still not a word
processor ;)

Re: MUST include basic Word features like Format Painter

Well, yes and no. It's not a "pure" word processor like Word. However, it
is supposed to be The place to hold all your information. If I've got lots
of info on a page, I need to be able to format it so it's pleasing to the eye
(to me and others). Format painter would do this.

Hidden text would also be a great feature for ON. I, myself, would use
hidden text to promt me through using a template.

Of course, not all users would like or need to have these features. But I
think that it would be very easy for MS to include them. I mean --- it does
math!? so why not format painter?

Thanks for the response.
