Page returning to start after navigating to another page

I'm not quite sure how to describe this issue, but I'll do the best I can-

When I am navigating a long onenote page, say 30 document pages in length, I
sometimes need to reference material in another onenote page or subpage.
After I get done looking at the material on the other page and navigate back
to my original onenote page, many times the scrolling has returned to the
very beginning of that original onenote page. I then have to scroll through
the 30 or so pages to try to find where I was before, which is very
frustrating and time in-efficient. Is there a way to make onenote return to
where I was previously or where my cursor was before I navigated away from
that page?

ON always shows pages in the status they had when they were changed the
last time (they were saved).
Therefore when returning to a page, the cursor will be at this position.
There is no way to change this behaviour.

But one may use the standard behaviour as a workaround:
If one makes a little bit of a change, f.e. by adding just a blank, this
will the place the page will be opened when returning to the page.

Hi,

I too found this a little frustrating as I do a lot of switching
between sections during my research. Sometimes (and without making
changes) it does come back to the desired point in the page, but
sometimes not (haven't analysed the difference). I do as Rainald
suggests and type a handy 'here' line, where I want it to return to. I
move this around as needed. It would be good not to have to do this
though.

As said: Just making any change will help.
In the next version the problem is fixed. On returning to a page the
cursor will be where it was before moving elsewhere.
