OneNote creating duplicate copy of a section

Hi. We have this OneNote notebook stored in SharePoint. What happens is a
section gets corrupted and it creates one or two duplicate copies of that
corrupted section. For example: There's a section named "teacher". Two other
sections "teacher 1" and "teacher 2" will be created. THen we will encounter
error in syncing which says : section "teacher" is corrupted.
Please note that it only happens on Password protected section. If you have
encountered this error before please advise what is the solution or what can
we do to prevent this from happening again.

I already tried to recreate the whole notebook and it was working smoothly
for the past 2 weeks- no corrupted section- until yesterday when the issue
resurfaced.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: OneNote creating duplicate copy of a section

What version of OneNote are you using? If 2007 do you have SP2 for OneNote
installed?

Re: OneNote creating duplicate copy of a section

We are using 2007. Some of the users have Office 2007 SP2 installed while
others don't. Thank you. I will install SP2 to all users and see how it goes.
