| Table from IE as an editable table - 2007 Is there a way to copy a table from the web and move it to ON 2007 as a table proper. I can certainly copy a table and bring it over as an image of the table, but I would like to be able to manipulate it WITHIN ON (rather than through a third program). Thanks for all of the help. This works fine, if you *COPY* it. 1.) Mark the table an the page in IE; 2.) Paste it into ON: (a) Use the browser's "Send to OneNote" icon (the wording is misunderstandable in so far) OR (b) copy the marked area to the Clipboard (either with "Edit | Copy" or Ctrl+C), opem the the traget page in ON and Paste into ON ("Edit | Insert" or Ctrl+V or Shift+Ins) The result will be fully editable in ON. | Re: Table from IE as an editable table - 2007 When I said copy, I was referring to highlighting the table in IE, ctrl+C, then ctrl+v within ON (never went close to the print driver). As mentioned, it comes over as a formatted table, but is not editable. I can move the entire table, but cannot change rows, columns, add or remove content. I have also tried the SendToOneNote option in IE. What else could be happening? Is it just one special table or an in general issue? > I can move the entire table, but cannot change > rows, columns, add or remove content. I have also tried the > SendToOneNote option in IE. What else could be happening? I have not yet come across this. Normally tables are editable. Could be that on the website it's just an *mage* not a table? Rainald |
