I just upgraded by OneNote 2003 trial version to OneNote 2007 trial version
(fully intend to buy 2007 as soon as it's available!), but when I try to do
screen clipping it opens the OneNote 2003 application instead of 2007.

I did not uninstall 2003 first - maybe I should have. Any way to fix
without uninstalling/reinstalling both applications? (Note, the icon in the
system tray is still for 2003, even though I have checked the "show icon in
tray" option for 2007.)

Never mind - I figured it out already! Sorry for the unnecessary post.

The solution was to open 2003, tools - options - other, turn off the
"notification in taskbar" option, close 2003, then open 2007, tools - options
- other, turn off the "notification in taskbar", then turn it on again -
which then caused the new 2007 icon to appear in the system tray (i.e.
taskbar). Now all works as it should.

I really wonder why you did not *UNINSTALL* 2003 prior to installing
2007.
There is no use in having two totally different versions on the same
system.
