Scanned image size, send to options, and PDF options

I'm currently using ON2007(beta).
Things I would find useful:

1. When scanning, it would be nice to be able to specify the dimensions of
the scanned image. I currently need to resize all the pages of a document
after scanning them.

2. More options when sending something to ON via the printer, such as size
(I've noticed powerpoints I insert as printouts are different sizes depending
whether the tablet is in portrait or landscape at the time)

3. This may not be the appropriate place for this suggestion, but it would
be nice to have more options when sending to PDF (set margins, get a preview,
etc.)

Thanks,

Robbie G

4. Also, more options for the automatic backup would be nice. For example,
which notebooks/sections instead of doing everything all the time. If there
are notebooks/sections I"m not using frequently, it would be nice to save
hard drive space.

Hi folks,
pls be so kind as not to through every this and that into the same
thread.

Lets try to keep things to topics.

And: If you wan to reach the devlopers' team, pls use Connect to post
your suggestions:

Re: Scanned image size, send to options, and PDF options

I'm confused.

You want me to make a post for each suggestion? Or I should not even post
my suggestions here, but at "Connect"?

My apologies for doing it wrong.

RE: Scanned image size, send to options, and PDF options

for #4, backups are only made if something changes so you're not wasting
space with little used sections. Only the number of backups you ask for in
Tools/Options are saved.

I'm so sorry. This was not my intention.

> You want me to make a post for each suggestion?

Yes, please if it's different topics.
If there's totally different things in the same thread things might
get lost/overlooked.

> Or I should not even post my suggestions here, but at "Connect"?

Yes. Please do this in addition to posting here.
This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup (forum).
At times MS-employees will look here too.
But the place to *directly* contact the developers and to get the
suggestions listed in the system is Conncet.

BTW: When posting in Connect, it would be nice to drop a note in this
newsgroup so that the community gets to know about the suggesting and
others can jump on your posting in Connect to support the suggesting
by voting

> My apologies for doing it wrong.

No problem at all. No need to apologize.

Rainald
