I installed the Trial version of OneNote2007 on my machine but left OneNote
2003 installed as well unil I buy 2007 and make it permamnent. The tray icon
points to 2003 and 2003 is used as the default for SideNotes. Can anyone
tell me how I can make OneNote 2007 my default?

Close both versions of OneNote.

Open up Task Manager and "End Process" the program called "OneNoteM.exe"

Open ON2003, and under Tools | Options | Other, uncheck the option to have
the ON icon in the Notification Area. Close ON2003.

Open ON2007, and under Tools | Options | Other, turn on the check next to
the option to have the ON icon in the Notification Area.
